   ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

Bird-watching amid major peak, Arusha National Park covers an area od 137 square kilometers. It is located near Arusha town between the peaks of Mountains Kilimanjaro and Meru. The park and the town derive their name from the Waarusha people who traditionally lived in this Area.

   TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Tree-climbing pythons; covering approximately 2600 square kilometers, Tarangire lies to the south of large open grass plains of southern Maasai lang. the features of Tarangire which correlate with the type of animals residing in the area are grassland and flood plains. Tarangire is commonly famous for its tree-climbing pythons, zebra, hartebeests, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, gazelles, oryx, and abundant birdlife.

   LAKE MANAYARA NATIONAL PARK

Lions in Acacia Branches under the wall of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park is 330 square kilometers in size of which 230 is covered by Lake Manyara, the park contains a large variety of habitats such as the rift wall, the ground water forest, acacia woodland, areas of open grassland, to mention but a few thus being able to support a large number of species.

   SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Endless Plains of Nature's wonders the Serengeti National Park is one of the world's largest wildlife sanctuaries. One of the most breathtaking events in the animal kingdom, the migration of thousands of wildebeest takes place here every year. It was accepted by the World Heritage Convention as a world Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve in 1981.

   KILIMANJARO NATIONAL PARK

Kilimanjaro Africa's highest mountain awaits the brave and adventurous. The are around the mountain has been declared a national park, with an area of 756 square kilometers. The Kilimanjaro National park attained its status in 1973 to preserve mount Kilimanjaro's outstanding scenic features and its flora and fauna. At an altitude of 5895 meters above sea level, besides being the highest mountain in Africa, Kilimanjaro is also the highest free-standing mountain in the world with one of the largest volcanoes ever to burst through the earth's crust.

    Routes

  1. Marangu Route:
  2. The route is also known as the "Coca Cola" route and is the busiest route on the mountain. It uses the same route for ascending and descending and you stay in communal huts. The climb can be done in 5 days, but it is advisable to spend an extra night in Horombo hut for more acclimatization and therefore a better chance of summitting.

  3. MACHAME ROUTE
  4. Machame route: One of the more scenic routes up the mountain, after the Umbwe route, this is probably the most beautiful route by which to ascend the mountain. This us a 6-dat climb, starting on the southwestern side of the mountain and descending on the southeastern side. It is a camping route and a nice option to consider on this route is to spend an extra night at Karanga valley for more acclimatization time.

  5. UMBWE ROUTE
  6. Probably the most beautiful route by which to ascend the mountain, it is slightly shorter than the other camping route whilst still having good acclimatization time. Ideal for the more serious hiker, as it is steeper and more strenuous than the Machame route. It is normally a six-day climb and is a camping route.

  7. RONGAI ROUTE
  8. This route begins on the northern side of the mountain. It is one of the least traveled routes which a long drive to the starting point. It boasts fantastic views and the likelihood that you will be the only climbers. Descent in on the Marangu (Coca Cola route)
